In the role of Lead CAD Engineer, you'll be  responsible for all aspects of glazing and interior mirrors within the Fixed Glazing/Wash-Wipe team. You'll work with CATIA V5 and V6, and it is essential you’ll have worked with parametric modelling. This role will require you to liaise with key stakeholders and operate in a cross-functional organisation, interfacing internally with other vehicle components and systems, including Body, Electrical, Design, and Research and Vehicle Engineering, as well as externally with the commodity supply base.

You’ll report to the Core CoC Group Leader.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be successful in this role, you'll have extensive experience working with CATIA V5 and ideally with CATIA V6, however training in the latter can be provided. It is essential that you'll have experience of parametric modelling and with plastic mouldings and glass.

You'll be expected to work cross-functionally, doing which will heavily involve your ability to influence key decisions through the use of analytical and data-driven processes. Proactive and motivated, you’ll find work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment a rewarding experience. A degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline will give you a distinct advantage.
