Behind this momentous undertaking are our Material Planning and Logistics team. They coordinate on a massive scale to ensure our vehicles continue to roll smoothly off the production lines and into the hands of the customers awaiting them.

We support our customer’s demand by operating within our supply base's capabilities; determining achievable, efficient manufacturing plans for our manufacturing plants are key functions that Vehicle Planning and Scheduling undertakes at Jaguar Land Rover.  Working within the Vehicle Planning and Scheduling team, you'll lead your team of analysts to ensure that your element of this overall Material Requirements Planning process is planned and executed optimally. You'll use a number of existing corporate IT systems to interrogate key inputs to the planning processes and develop improvements and enhancements, as well ensuring day to day KPIs are met.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In your role as an Engine Planner you'll be responsible for producing on-time and accurate weekly supplier schedules, ensuring successful build plans and on-time delivery to our prestigious customers. You'll use your excellent communication skills to liaise with the Engine Manufacturing Centre to ensure accuracy of outgoing schedules and be able to build and develop these relationships. Working with a wide ranging cross-functional team, you'll monitor and escalate any potential engineering issues and take any action required to ensure that we provide a premium service to our customers. You'll be responsible for KPI reporting and have experience of leading improvement activities within teams.
