WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

The Calibration Engineer’s role will be to deliver OBDI and OBDII level diagnostics into a wide range of powertrain systems - diesel, gasoline, and hybrid. Taking on this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of robust calibration, validation, and certification of multiple monitors for worldwide market legislation including NAS, EU, and Beijing, China. You’ll be expected to plan, coordinate, execute, and sign off testing programmes, and you’ll be able to demonstrate experience in capturing, understanding, and developing requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll come to this highly technical role with previous experience of engine management systems and/or engine OBDII calibration. You should also have a history of feature development and calibration utilising desktop, HiL rig, and vehicle level alongside working knowledge of the failure mode avoidance process. With high levels of drive and self-motivation, you’ll be capable of delivering with minimum supervision.
