Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire
WHAT TO EXPECT
Here, you’ll design, develop, and shape the future of our electronic systems by helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.
As the EMC Programme Engineer, you’ll lead EMC programme delivery for selected Jaguar Land Rover vehicle lines. This will include vehicle-level testing and reporting whilst ensuring all programme EMC requirement deliverables are met in line with the Jaguar Land Rover programme management tools.
As well as approve component EMC test plans and test results for specific programme or programmes, you’ll be responsible for vehicle-level EMC issue resolution, taking the lead in proposing and demonstrating potential solutions. In addition, you’ll support component-level EMC issue resolution, providing EMC technical support and advice.
Finally, you’ll be required to raise and progress EMC failure issues with component and system owners, and you’ll attend supplier visits for component build evaluation at your home location and overseas when required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll come to this role with solid understanding of EMC, electronic principles, and vehicle electrical architectures. In addition, you’ll possess experience of the EMC fault finder and the ability to run EMC test hardware for EMC issues diagnostics. You’ll also be familiar with EMC processes and sign-off, EMC test software (R&S EMC32), and EM simulation tools.
You should be a natural problem solver with a structured approach and have excellent communication skills. To ensure success in your daily tasks, you’ll need to have the capacity to work independently but also with a team of other EMC engineers.
BENEFITS
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
