WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

 

The Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) department is responsible for full vehicle EMC performance of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. They look after vehicle testing and problem investigation across all Jaguar Land Rover programmes, tracking component compliance to the latest standards.

 

As Electro Magnetic Engineer you’ll exploit advances in Electro Magnetic (EM) simulation tools to introduce EM simulation into the virtual design process of our vehicles. You’ll develop simulation tools to aid in the design of vehicle based antenna systems, module and harness placement at vehicle concept stage and support for EMC problem resolution when required. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have a good understanding Electro Magnetic Compatibility and firm understanding of electronic principles. In order to develop EM simulation techniques to support vehicle design decisions. A solid understanding of Radio Frequency simulation techniques and simulation tools is essential.
