WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Joining our Powertrain Engineering team, which delivers the ‘driving force’ within our vehicles, you key focus will be the delivery of high voltage battery systems across an range of exciting and daring vehicle electrification projects, from conceptualisation and programme start all the way through to manufacturing.

 

You’ll be ensuring compatibility of battery hardware and control systems for each build phase, managing requirements and verification, and tracking the status of system plans, vehicle build support, and fault diagnosis.

 

You’ll also be delivering batteries and systems to vehicles across product lifecycles, managing battery system requirements and component structures, creating battery system hardware and control plans, and ensuring compatibility across all system deliverables.

 

You’ll be:

·  Delivering high voltage battery systems into our next generation of exciting vehicles
·  Ensuring compatibility and tracking and managing issues
·  Delivering battery systems across product lifecycles

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Ideally, you’ll join us from an automotive, defence, aerospace, industrial systems, or similar background, bringing proven experience of systems delivery on complex and safety critical engineering projects. You’ll understand requirements management and decomposition, and you’ll have experience of system / technical issue resolution, management and processes, and the development of verification and validation plans.

 

Knowledge of vehicle, powertrain, electrification systems, and functional safety processes

(to ISO 26262 standard) is desirable, as is exposure to 8D or similar fault resolution

processes, fault diagnosis tools, and / or software and network architectures.

 

You’ll have:

 

·  A background in automotive or similar
·  Experience of delivering complex, safety-critical engineering projects
·  Knowledge of system / technical issue resolution
·  An understanding of vehicle, powertrain, or electrification systems
