WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As part of our Electrical Maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for conducting a range of tasks -including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to remediate low voltage faults, maintenance scheduling on the robotic paint application equipment, and supporting the production process leaders in the delivery of volume and quality targets.

 

You’ll also provide support on various shift working patterns, to control and maintain application equipment. With your skills and knowledge, you’ll identify and implement ideas that offer opportunities for paint and solvent savings and waste reduction.

 

On top of this, you’ll be responsible for all safety precautions associated with your role. You’ll demonstrate safe working practices and will be ready to challenge your colleagues to do the same - championing safety across the workplace.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Like us, you’re passionate about quality and process improvement. You'll hold a recognised electrical apprenticeship qualification alongside experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. You'll also have comprehensive knowledge of electric legislation. You’ll also need to hold a full driving licence for this role. Previous experience within a similar role would be favourable, but your advanced machining skills and flexibility are the key to success. 

 

Your technical knowledge will allow you to read electrical schematics, build small automation devices, use power meters and other electrical devices. You’ll also have a strong understanding of electrical manufacturing equipment, including robotic and Durr systems.
