As part of this sustainable and profitable growth strategy we’re bringing the Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) design and development in house and we’ll be designing and developing the wiring harnesses installation as well as all the design validation activities around EDS.

In addition you’ll be responsible for:

 

·  Generating and reviewing circuit system diagrams from device transmittals.
·  Calculating wire sizes, voltage drops and fuse blow times on the relevant circuits.
·  Generating power and ground circuit diagrams.
·  Assisting in the design of the harnesses ensuring that designs meet specifications..

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

We’re looking for you to have technical experience of Electrical Distribution System design engineering. If you’ve also a working knowledge of 2D/3D wiring harnesses geometry, change control, product definition and change management processes to support the review of feasible product actions, that’s even better

 

It’s essential that you’ve knowledge and experience of vehicle electrical systems and circuits accompanied with working experience of VeSys Capital Logic Circuit Design Software.

 

In addition to this, you’ll need strong interpersonal skills as you’ll need to interact and work closely with many other business functions, from Body, Chassis and Marketing and Sales, to Special Vehicles and Suppliers.
