WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

The sleek form you see with our vehicles is only possible with expertise and knowledge of the Tooling and Pressed Parts Group (T&PPG) who are responsible for all sheet metal tooling programs, facilities and technologies within Jaguar Land Rover. This includes managing the development, manufacture and successful launch of tooling and equipment into nominated press facilities, as well as providing the foundation for Jaguar Land Rover’s drive towards best in class Body in White (BIW) quality and cost performance.

 

As Die Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll supervise a tool room within the West Midlands stamping operations and provide support to the press shop to maximise production efficiencies, die maintenance, and all associated equipment in the tool room. You’ll also be responsible for first line response to requests, part quality, die performance, Total Productive Maintenance, and corrective maintenance.

 

You’ll be based either within our engineering team at Gaydon, or on site in our press shops at Halewood or in the West Midlands.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED     

 

You’ll have a thorough understanding of press tool design, methods and technologies used throughout the pressed parts process chain. You’ll have the experience to drive the team to meet production targets in a manufacturing environment and work with the trade unions.
