LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the design, development, testing and introduction of deployment mechanisms. Operating in a cross-functional organisation, you’ll report into the relevant Group Leaders and Lead Engineers and, where delivering on specific vehicle programmes, have an additional matrix report into Module Leaders.

The role requires you to deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost and time and lead on the technical content and integrity of specific components and systems across specific programmes. As well as the above, you'll own and deliver the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (ADPQ) deliverables. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

With previous experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues, you’ll have the ability to achieve goals collaboratively within the wider team.

You'll have a passion for all things automotive and the enthusiasm to understand, and deliver technology led solutions within Jaguar Land Rover that will make the difference. With your combined strong project management capabilities and the skills to multitask you’ll be able to support numerous projects on time and budget. You’ll also have a good working knowledge of product creation and delivery, change control, product definition and be comfortable with change management. With a sound knowledge of complex control measures we expect you’ll be able to demonstrable experience of working with moving mechanisms on surface parts.

As well as the above you’ll have strong mechanical interface design skills and preferably a relevant degree.
