During the first 18 months you will complete a Degree Apprenticeship where you will gain a Level 4 Diploma in Business Accounting. Following on from this you will continue your on-the-job training with further study to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), whilst also completing a top up degree to gain a BSc in Professional Accounting (taking c.6years in total).

You will begin the Apprenticeship learning the core functions of Finance, before rotating around the business into roles in Product Development Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Sales Finance, and many more.

During the programme you will receive full funding and day release study leave to attend BPP University College of Professional Studies (based in Birmingham), in addition to day release for exams.

You will be assigned a buddy and mentor to support you throughout the programme.

Candidate Profile

To apply for the Degree Apprenticeship scheme, you’ll need a minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English. You’ll also need at least
280 UCAS points gained from 3 A-Levels, one of which must be a grade B in a numerical or business related subject (Maths, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, etc.) Equivalent Irish, Scottish or international VOCATIONAL qualifications are also accepted. Applications from those without A-Levels or equivalent will ideally have a 180 credit level 3 extended diploma in a relevant Business discipline (graded Distinction / Merit or higher).
