WHAT TO EXPECT 
As the CME Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth introduction of engineering changes to the body shops. This involves approving changes through Worldwide Engineering Release System (WERS) and validating that the change will have no negative impacts on the delivery of the body shop.

Acting as a gatekeeper to ensure that changes are feasible and that all parties are aware of any change. Ensuring line trials are run correctly and that all paperwork is filled out to a high standard and that procedures are followed.

Liaising with engineering and suppliers to ensure changes are brought in correctly and that no line stoppages are occurred. While Assisting with model year updates where running changes are involved.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 
You’ll need Strong problem solving skills extensive experience using 8D and Six Panels Good understanding of engineering processes including Global Study Process Allocation System (G.S.P.A.S) writing also the Ability to interpret measurement CMM data. Understanding of Statistical Process control, Performance of process (PpK) control plans. Basic understanding of MQOS requirements Conversant with Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to analyse Customer and External Warranty data, Black belt / Green Belt trained and BIW experience desirable, Educated to Degree Level
