Credit Control is a vital aspect of Jaguar Land Rover's finance team, with responsibility for assessing credit risk, reducing overdue debts, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and maintaining the process for collection of outstanding invoice payments. You'll be an integral part of this process, maintaining regular contact with customers and utilising your understanding of credit risk to reduce outstanding debts and to review and improve business practices. You’ll support the creation on new accounts and work effectively in a Sox compliance environment. In addition, you'll initiate and lead meetings with internal and external customers to resolve issues impacting on Credit Control.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this responsible role, you'll need a proven background in credit control and the ability to demonstrate a tenacious and structured approach to cash collection; with clear communication skills with the ability to influence others. You should enjoy customer contact and working at an energetic pace. The credit control team is a busy and fast-moving environment, you'll need to be organised and capable of working under pressure and of adapting to changing situations.  You’ll need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Ideally, you'll have an ICM qualification or be working towards this qualification; along with risk assessment experience and SOX compliance experience.  In addition, you'll be computer literate with fluent SAP knowledge and proven Intermediate MS Excel skills.
