SALARY: £32,500 - £48,500

As Crafted Quality Engineer you’ll be responsible across model programmes, ensuring the delivery of a product with strong levels of Perceived Quality.

 

You’ll work on components and systems across the whole of Body and Trim Engineering, as well as working closely with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing, developing engineering concepts. Aside from utilisation of the latest visualisation techniques, there will be opportunities to work with Perceived Quality and Optical Quality Attribute Leaders, in leading teams of engineers and designers across a number of functions in the resolution of complex engineering issues, ensuring release of geometry, which meets the exacting visual quality targets for our vehicles.

 

This is an ideal opportunity to develop a wider knowledge of Body Engineering components and programme delivery to support career development, whilst also allowing you to impact directly on the visual quality of our vehicles.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll be passionate about automotive, have automotive engineering experience with a good understanding of current and future technologies and ideally you’ll have some experience of the perceived quality and optical quality process.

 

You’ll be a strong communicator and analyst who is able to demonstrate the ability to resolve technical issues (and associated business cases) within a team environment. You’ll have the ability to interface directly to the Design and Attribute teams, component areas, Manufacturing and Marketing, plant, company Quality, New Model Programmes and Advanced Manufacturing, as well as representing the Perceived Quality department.
