lOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will be within the ever-growing Property department, where as part of the Purchasing Department, we work on all asset types including land, office, Brand Experience, and manufacturing sites.

The role will include the provision of professional services such as site and property selection, site relocation, negotiation of acquisitions, disposals and leases, advice on leases, lease restructuring and renewal, instruction of valuations, dilapidations, and property taxes. The role will also require regular business case development and preparation of Board and Property Committee papers and support to various business units on strategic projects in the region.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

With your experience in Corporate Real Estate, you’ll have the skills and experience to support the Real Estate Manager in various exciting domestic and global projects. You’ll be involved in taking client briefs, making strategic decisions for the interim and the future, and working to deliver a project on time and within budget.

You’ll have robust experience with negotiating leases, licences, and purchase and sale contracts, preferably in a mixture of service providers and in-house corporate businesses. Ideally, you’ll also have overseas property market experience and a strong understanding of project management principles.

In addition, you’ll have the ability to communicate well at all levels across global teams, create client and supplier relationships, and manage complex stakeholders. You’ll have a strong work ethic, including the capacity to work on your own initiative, working towards tight deadlines. A strong networker with excellent customer service skills, you’ll also be a forward planner whose foresight will allow to anticipate future issues.
