LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery of cooling system components into vehicle programmes. As a Component Engineer, you’ll work with Lead Engineers to ensure that valid content is specified, as well as managing specific elements of the supplier delivery against this specification and arranging verification activity to support the vehicle programme so that it meets the programme requirements for quality, cost and time. You’ll also work with Strategy and Integration Engineers to deliver components which meet the vehicle and system functional targets.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

It is essential that you’ll come to this role with a degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification. It is just as important that you’ll have been involved with a technical or engineering project or that you’ll have industry placement or experience. As an individual, you’ll be a self-starter who has the ability to promote passion and enthusiasm not only in yourself but also in others.
