WHAT TO EXPECT

Joining our business as a Controls Engineer means that you’ll be working hands-on within our manufacturing processes. Whether it’s applying problem solving techniques and improving the efficiency of our manufacturing processes, or using ISO standards and best-practice working principles to drive the quality of our outputs, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the manufacture of our vehicles is running not just smoothly, but in the most effective way possible.

You’ll be responsible for one or more key business areas, joining a team that services our plant equipment and ensures compliance, or a team that is the driving force behind our strict health and safety systems and procedures. You’ll not only contribute to existing procedures, methods, and processes, but you’ll also be driving continuous improvement in all areas, contributing to improved engineering performance, efficiency, and safety.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll join our business with extensive engineering experience, ideally working within manufacturing, assembly, or product creation. You’ll understand automotive engineering, and you’ll have applied industry-recognised problem-solving and efficiency methodologies such as the 8Ds and Kaizen in previous roles.

You’ll understand and be able to improve / repair hydraulics, robotics, Program Logic Controllers, inverters, pneumatics, and inductive power system from both a hands-on and theoretical perspective. Ideally you’ll understand Ethernet and wireless control networking, and knowledge of programming Program Logic Controllers is also beneficial. Health and Safety qualifications or COSHH certificates are also highly desirable.
