WHAT TO EXPECT

Our vehicles are admired and desired across the world for luxurious design and outstanding engineering. Driving them is an incredible experience; being the ideas and expertise behind their creation is even more exhilarating. Being part of our Engineering and Manufacturing team you'll join this journey.

In your new role as a Technical Product Owner, you’ll be responsible maximising the value of our products and improving the quality of work put in by the development team. You’ll lead product discovery, help to identify and describe requirements, and ensure that the product backlog is ready to be actioned at the next scheduled sprint planning meeting.

You’ll work with the Product Manager to create and prioritise your specific product’s backlog, producing KPIs and dashboards to keep users and other stakeholders informed and up to date. You’ll take detailed requirements from internal stakeholders or customers, and specify acceptance criteria via the creation of user stories. You’ll also act as a proxy for the user during development, answering implementation questions from developers and working with our UX department on design aspects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll have experience of working in the software industry, as part of an agile software team. You’ll have shipped at least one major product and will have gained prior success using a mixture of business and technical decisions. Ideally, you will have delivered a product with a user interface, and you’ll be able to develop software using at least one programming language.

Any experience of designing product discovery experiments is beneficial, as is any expertise in using tool to build conceptual product models, wireframes, and interactive low-fidelity product prototypes.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey. This role is also eligible for other additional allowances to base salary.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
