WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Connected Technologies group works across and links the Infotainment and Connected Car groups, providing on vehicle and Cloud based experiences. In your new role within the group, you’ll be driving the evolution of the Connected Technologies Apps ‘User Experience’. This consists of owning the design of the most impactful user interface, including related features and participation in the product definition process, as well as collaborating with Product Owners and  Information Architects to translate business and marketing goals into class-leading solutions.

 

You’ll work with HTML5, iOS and Android app developers to translate the UI design into award-winning apps, developing prototypes, storyboards, wireframes, specifications, navigation maps, and other design documents in adherence to our brand guidelines. You’ll develop expert knowledge of our competitors, and define innovative user interfaces and interaction styles with result in an improved user experience.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll be highly creative, bringing interactive design experience as well as excellent presentation skills and an eye for detail. You’ll have the drive to create the best automotive user experience in the world, using your skills in visual design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to achieve key design goals.

 

Ideally you’ll have worked in User Experience design before, creating responsive apps or websites in the retail market. You’ll have a portfolio of work that is ready to be shared with us and you’ll be able to talk us through your experience of team working within a large, complex organisation.
