Within this role, you'll be a tremendous asset to all our activities aiming to protect and significantly enhance the reputation of Jaguar Land Rover by supporting the development and implementation of corporate communication strategies and key messaging across the world. Your role will be vital in implementing technology stories and positioning the company as a credible voice in technology and innovation. You'll support the delivery of Jaguar Land Rover’s business and PR strategy to enhance our brand reputation, drive conversation, and deliver great coverage through multiple channels.

Part of this role will revolve round finding the exciting stories to tell that will engage all key audiences, and you’ll be the contagion of our corporate and brand stories back into the plants with which to engage, galvanise, and excite our stakeholders. You’ll build and communicate the corporate narrative across all channels to build Jaguar Land Rover as the most admired and respected brand, and you’ll also assist in the establishment and effective communication of technology key messages, especially to support the individual strategic themes. Finally, you’ll initiate, research, and write press and communications materials to ensure a proactive presence on the desks of business, technology, and other correspondents.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication skills (both spoken and written), be commercially astute and used to working in a business environment, and have an in-depth knowledge of key communications and engagement practices, both tactical and strategic. You’ll come to this role with previous experience in events management as well as a strong ability to organise and prioritise your workload in order to meet tight deadlines. A good level of IT competence in programmes such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will also be required alongside a solid background within PR and communications. Additionally, you’ll should have the capability to manage sensitive communications issues.
