An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is where it all begins. This is where we develop the new concepts that go on to become new Jaguars and Land Rovers. So the emphasis is on building strong strategic, technical and financial foundations right from the start.
Land Rover Design has responsibility for the creation and delivery of all visible parts on the exterior, interior, and under-bonnet of all Land Rover vehicles. The Design team is multi-disciplined, with Designers, Engineers, Clay and Alias Sculptors, and the Surfacing team.
Colour and Materials is a function within the Design Department, which has the responsibility for designing and developing colours, materials and surface finishes for the interior and exterior of vehicles to satisfy the needs of the customer. You’ll have the responsibility for designing and developing colour and materials for Land Rover Core and SO programmes. You’ll be expected to have a collaborative approach and will be required to build on program ideas as projects move from Creation to Realisation. Along with this you’ll be Influencing the design direction of a project with a high degree of creativity and solutions that can be analysed, developed and lead independently.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You'll be involved from an interior and exterior point of view from concept through to production and beyond. With a relevant Design degree, you’ll demonstrate excellent creative and presentation skills, including advanced use of Photoshop, Illustrator, VRED or similar software. A ‘think outside of the box’ mentality is a must as you’ll be planting the seeds for future projects, as well as maintaining immaculate standards for current assignments. Of course, you’ll need to be self-motivated, meticulous, tenacious and enthusiastic.
BENEFITS
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
