WHAT TO EXPECT

With your knowledge and principles of coordinate systems and alignment, ability to interpret dimensional data, you’ll join our Dimensional Department, Body in White team based at our state-of-the-art Jaguar plant. As a CMM Technician, you’ll work closely with other team members and fellow associates on a daily basis to analyse measurement data and create appropriate reports that enable informed decision making.

You’ll be responsible for measurement of various body panels and chassis, communication of current issues to relevant teams to ensure all receive maximum exposure and are dealt with effectively to assist, improve and sustain product quality. You’ll also drive continuous improvement by establishing a specific course of action, and appropriately manage time, tasks and resources.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll bring with you previous experience of CMM operating and programming and a thorough understanding of measurement coordinate systems. Previous experience with data collection, dimensional auditing and quality is desirable.

You’ll be an effective team player, with good interpersonal and coordination skills, able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment. You’ll be enthusiastic and have excellent quality awareness with the drive to deliver a world class product.

You’ll have a flexible approach to working shifts and overtime.
