As a Current Manufacturing Engineer you’ll report directly to the Body Construction Principal Engineer and will work alongside diverse team of manufacturing/process engineers who support the Body Construction function ensuring key metrics are achieved. You’ll be a champion for quality and work to ensure targets are achieved around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics.

You’ll play an instrumental role in leading investigations and problem resolution and applying analytical skills while delivering robust data to manage continuous improvement. Ensuring standardised work processes reflect the latest manufacturing standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The role will require a level of self-sufficiency and a knowledge of working with GSPAS, QPS and WES. You’ll have the ability to work as a team and be able to drive motivation and enthusiasm amongst others. The role will require you to work cross functionally across the business.

You’ll need to have the ability to interpret dimensional data, a good understanding of statistical process control and be able to utilise computer systems. A relevant degree and/or Black/Green belt training is desirable, but not essential. A good understanding of Lean manufacturing processes and procedures is required.
