Joining the team in our Digital Development Centre, your responsibilities as a Cloud Engineer will be involved variety of large and innovative public and private cloud based projects for Jaguar Land Rover in Manchester. You’ll support and grow an entirely new cloud native capability within Jaguar Land Rovers digital delivery team. You’ll form an essential part of a collaborative, iterative and agile process within a team of designers, software, devops and quality engineers helping deliver best in class digital solutions.

 

You’ll design and deliver solutions based on IaaS platforms such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack or Azure. You’ll develop highly resilient applications, helping deliver state of the art multi-cloud software solutions on public, private and hybrid clouds, for exciting new projects.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll bring in-depth experience of working with Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack), DevOps and Cloud Native principle and techniques such as Microservices, Containers, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure-as-code. Work closely with Developers, Designers and QA’s in cross functional teams. You will have been exposed to all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle, from inception phase to delivery. Good understanding of telemetry practices (monitoring, graphing, alerting, anomaly detection) and experience of running software in production

 

Any exposure to Cloud Foundry, Configuration Management tooling (Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.) and infrastructure orchestration tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.) is beneficial
