WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Our Power Electronics team is responsible for the cross-brand delivery of Plug-In and Full-Electric vehicles, including hardware design and implementation, appropriate system

design and control strategies for components such as DC-DC converters, Traction Inverters and Off-Board/On-Board Chargers.

 

You’ll be joining the team as a Charging Engineer, with the key responsibility of the delivering on-board charging converter for all vehicle programme that support electrification. You’ll define requirements, design validation methods and testing, and system integration, and you’ll also manage the supplier that interact with our vehicle programmes from an electrification perspective.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll join us with proven experience of leading Guidelines for Review and Development of Electronics (GRADE), along with electromagnetic compatibility resting, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and testing, and supplier commodity planning.

 

Ideally you’ll have strong knowledge of the component releasing process using a Worldwide Engineering Release system, “I” product lifestyle management, and root cause analysis techniques including Six Sigma, the 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D. You’ll round out your practical experience with a relevant science, engineering, or mathematics degree.
