SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000

LOCATION: Whitley, West Midlands

 

This role is also eligible for other additional allowances to base salary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

 

As Powertrain Certification Engineer, you’ll assist with the delivery pf Emissions Certification, from concept to end of volume production, ensuring all legislative requirements are met.

 

You’ll ensure that vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and are certified in time for sale while liaising with external parties such as National Sales Companies and regulatory bodies. You’ll also be accountable for assisting in flagging and resolving non-compliance and alleged compliance issues resulting from customer use.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll need to demonstrate a substantive working knowledge of Emissions Certification in Europe, India, Brazil or any Country accepting UN ECE regulations. In addition to this you’ll have a good customer mind-set, and be results driven with the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment.

 

Having a previous background in working with internal and external stakeholders will be helpful as you’ll establish and maintain a Certification Delivery plan for Jaguar Land Rover products in an assigned market.

 

Ideally you’ll be educated to Degree level or have equivalent experience within Emissions Certification.
