WHAT TO EXPECT

CAS (Creative Aesthetics and Styling) – Digital Design is a highly creative department working within the virtual world that provides high level 3D digital solution to 2D ideation.

The developed digital concept provides the support for virtual and physical properties used for presentation material in achieving design gateways, Executive Design Forums and other various high level Design reviews throughout the wider business

 

Working within the virtual world, must have the ability to interpret 2D sketch into 3D digital form whilst maintaining a creative mindset, delivering high quality design assets using Surface development tools. The ability to understand and replicate scan data with the same creative approach.

 

You’ll have the use of visualisation software to present and promote the ideation working within a team you’ll have the ability to work in a transparent and professional manner, supporting the relevant programme lead, whilst maintaining a flexible, pro-active approach.

You’ll have the ability to liaise with all levels throughout design, across all disciplines, in order to deliver the required concepts whilst having a good understanding of creative process within the design studio environment, maximising the effect on the required design assets.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As an experienced CAS/ALAIS Modeler you must have the ability to interpret 2D sketch into 3D digital form to provide a visual stimulus of the developed design solution, you’ll support JLR CAS Team by guiding and supporting design programs, Pro-actively look in to new Technology (software & hardware)

 

You’ll apply common sense at all times seeking the time and cost effective methods of achieving the design intent to a ‘fit for purpose’ standard for reviews within given timelines i.e. programme gateways Assist, when requested with all virtual reviews, presentations, market research events or product launches located within JLR Design or externally.

To be mostly self-initiated and motivated to deliver customer requirement in a pro-active manner and Interact with key disciplines to achieve the required deliverable.
