An ever evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If the opportunity to help enhance the customer experience by developing, modelling and analysing customer attributes for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles sounds like your ideal next career move, read on.

Our Powertrain Transmission and Driveline NVH team is responsible for the noise and vibration development of transmission and driveline systems for internal combustion engined vehicles and eMotors for plug in hybrids and full battery electric vehicles. From concept stage to production, they tackle an array of challenges, day in, day out. And, right now, they need you on their team.

As a CAE Engineer, your focus will be on conventional and electric driveline systems. Specifically, we'll rely on you to support the development of Transmission and Driveline Components/Systems using your engineering knowledge and experience and Computer Aided Engineering techniques. One day you could be running CAE analysis, summarising results and giving your feedback to colleagues, the next, working with our design teams to develop and optimise solutions, often to tight deadlines.

Supporting design reviews and presenting to key stakeholders, working with subject matter experts to make sure accurate project documentation is maintained or mentoring and training junior team members and graduates – all, and more, are aspects of this interesting, varied and business critical role.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We’re looking for a results-driven team player and confident communicator who has what it takes to give concise data driven direction to a business. Someone who is great at prioritising a busy workload and delivering operational plans in a highly demanding environment. A relevant degree would be a plus, but more important is experience of Noise, Vibration and Harshness component/system level development using CAE to meet clearly defined performance targets.

A natural at solving complex technical ideas and challenges, you’re used to supporting engineering/analytical projects and proposing product modifications to improve design. And, if you’re proficient using explicit and/or implicit software and associated pre and post processing packages like Hypermesh, Optistruct, Hyperview and Hypergraph, we should definitely talk.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you will find the opportunities to further your career in a world-class department, with a privilege car purchase scheme, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunities for all.
