As CAE Engineer – Concept and Integration you’ll support the Body Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Integration department in Advanced Product Creation to develop light, safe, quiet and durable vehicles by the application of the best processes and CAE techniques early in the design cycle. You’ll use powerful optimisation technologies which consider multiple attributes including crash, noise vibration and harshness, and durability. By developing processes for refinement of current methods, you’ll help support the development of advanced simulation strategic aims.

 

You’ll also support the development of the vehicle system, subsystem and component and support design studies through the delivery of Body Engineering programs, and identify any shortfalls against key functional attribute requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With experience of CAE methodologies and LS-Dyna, Nastran, Abaqus or OptiStruct, you may have some work experience using CAE to meet defined performance targets and supporting engineering or analytical projects, working across design teams to optimise solutions. If you have recently completed a relevant PhD, even better.
