Join us as CAE Project Engineer and you’ll work as part of our Body CAE team, who are the driving force behind our aspirations for CAE led Engineering Design and Validation. We provide CAE analysis of Body components and sub systems and support the CAE needs of Body Structures and Trailer Towing Strength & Durability.

 

The team work closely with Project teams, using finite element analysis (FEA) methods to predict component and system performance, advising on the actions required to achieve performance targets. You’ll apply your expert engineering knowledge and computer aided engineering techniques from early in the design cycle, through to the development and test phases.

As CAE Engineer, you will lead a small team carrying out analysis using CAE techniques of Automotive Body System, Structures NVH, and Dynamics to meet key performance targets.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll be an experienced CAE Engineer with technical experience of Body Systems and Structures, NVH and Dynamics development. With experience of CAE tools such as Hyperworks or Ansa and Optistruct or Nastran, you’ll also be confident solving complex technical ideas and challenges. Ideally, you’ll have led a team on engineering and analytical projects.
