As CAD Engineer for Seat Structures you'll be developing new seating and existing seat concepts, technologies, and seat system integration across vehicle programmes. With input into the geometry of the vehicle programmes, you’ll utilise virtual engineering tools to lead the concept development and problem resolution with cross-functional teams. You'll provide support in defining the information required to produce robust models and system solutions. You'll also manage the Associative Vehicle Architecture models and development of appropriate standards.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You'll have experience of CATIA V5 and of using virtual engineering tools. You’ll also have strong knowledge of kinematics and electromechanical systems which you may have gained working on projects such as tailgates, doors, robots or other moving mechanical parts. This is an exciting role where you'll be able to use your programme delivery experience and strong influencing skills.
