SALARY: £31,000 - £40,000

END DATE: 07/06/2018

This role is also eligible for other additional allowances base salary

As CAE Analyst within our Body Engineering Department you’ll support the Body Computer Aided Engineering and Integration department to develop light, safe, quiet and durable vehicles by the application of the best processes and  techniques early in the design cycle in support of the Body and Chassis Structure development. You’ll use powerful optimisation technologies which consider multiple attributes including crash, noise vibration and harshness, and durability.

 

You’ll support our Technical Specialist in developing new cutting edge CAE tools and methods. You’ll develop Cabin and Cockpit prioritised CAE tools and methods such as NVH, Safety, Durability, Mechanism Studies and others. You’ll also lead technical transfers of new CAE tools and methods to embedded Cabin and Cockpit CAE teams whilst helping them with simulations, design analyses, and methods documentation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With experience of CAE methodologies and LS-Dyna, Nastran, Abaqus or Hyperworks, you have experience using CAE to meet defined performance targets and supporting engineering or analytical projects. If you’ve worked in automotive structural development or recently completed a relevant PhD, even better.
