Every minute of every day, thousands of parts and materials from all over the world are shipped and delivered to our plants, ready to be utilised on our production lines within hours. At the same time, hundreds of customers from across the globe are handed the keys to their newly transported vehicles. A feat like this doesn’t just happen. Behind this momentous undertaking are our Material, Planning and Logistics (MP&L) team, coordinating on a massive scale to ensure our vehicles continue to roll smoothly off the production lines and into the hands of the customers awaiting them.

In your role as Bill of Material (BoM) Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading your team of analysts to provide accurate ongoing BoM maintenance for a number of products, and you’ll oversee day-to-day activities to ensure KPIs are being met and that all BoM queries raised are being investigated and responded to in a timely manner. Through liaising with suppliers and customers, you’ll identify repeat-error states and develop improved processes to prevent recurrence. To develop your team’s skills and performance, you’ll coordinate and provide the necessary support and training. Finally, you’ll support recruitment and new process development actions as necessary for new product and system launches.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For your role as Bill of Material Supervisor, you’ll demonstrate strong problem investigation and resolution skills, and you’ll ideally have both an awareness and experience of BoM structures and systems. You’ll be an effective team player and manager who will be able to motivate, lead, coach and support a team of direct reports, and you’ll be highly communicative in both verbal and written methods. It is also vital that you’ll be comfortable with occasional travel and hold an up-to-date driving licence. Rounding out your profile with a logical approach to problem-solving and strong IT skills will see a successful application for this role.
