WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Special Vehicles Operations (SVO) are on a very exciting journey towards a world class leading facility producing Jaguar Land Rovers performance flagship models. The workshop currently works on armoured, limited editions, bespoke, royal & diplomatic and commercial vehicles.

 

As a Bespoke Paint Sprayer based out of our Solihull SVO operation, you’ll be responsible for the full paint application & rectification for vehicles which initially did not meet the required paint finish. You’ll be preparing Body in White (BIW) & exterior trim components, in addition to mixing paint & masking parts ready for the paint application process.

 

You’ll demonstrate safe working practices at all times in line with the company’s ‘destination zero’ policies and you’ll understand the responsibility for yourself and others in the workplace.

 

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Like us, you’re passionate about quality and process improvement. Ideally you’ll have experience of paint shop systems, processes and tool functions, in addition to understanding paint standards, finishes and process adherence.

 

In addition to the above, you'll hold a recognised automotive apprenticeship qualification.

 

You’ll be collaborative by nature, will support others, and will have a ‘can do, will do’ attitude, to ensure that the workflow targets are met.  Previous experience within a similar role is desirable. You must also hold a full UK driving licence.
