WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

The role of Battery Validation Engineer demands strong technical leadership combined with an ambitious view on how to develop continuous improvement methodologies for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the validation process. In this role, you’ll focus on ensuring adequate DV test plans are in place for each battery programme and that appropriate test methods (including virtual and rig-based methods) are developed to allow for a faster and more effective demonstration of battery reliability and durability. Your role will also lead the identification and progression through the capital process of new equipment and tools required to support future technology.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

It is essential that you’ll be educated to a degree level in a relevant engineering discipline (or have equivalent experience) and possess a strong technical background with proven knowledge of powertrain engineering. You’ll also need an analytical mind the capability to demonstrate conclusions based on skilful manipulation and use of data, and you’ll round out your technical expertise with knowledge of battery components and systems.
