WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping we find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

As a system architect you will carry the responsibility for the specification, development, delivery and on-going maintenance of software architecture for in-house developed software and ECUs.  Initially, this role has a particular focus on Secure On Board Communications related software progressing later on into an overall AutoSAR scope.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With a passion for the automotive industry you will be required to lead the specification, design and develop the software architecture and functions including AutoSAR architecture, networks, diagnostic and fault handling strategies and services, start-up and shutdown processes and task scheduling. You work with the systems and controls engineers to decompose incoming 'black box' level change requests down to the software unit level.

 

You will define and support for test activities including MIL / SIL, integration tests, and HIL, manage code productionisation, validation and industrialisation activities including supporting an offshore development team and act as Interface definition to support integration of multiple software components from in-house and 3rd party software teams

 

In addition, you’ll possess a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle for embedded applications, including specification, architecture design, implementation, build and integration process, test, release and maintenance. Experience of basic software configuration using DaVinci/Tresos Studio/CUBAS and Sw-C authoring using DaVinci/SystemDesk.is essential

 

A degree in Electronics, Computer Science / Software, Automotive / Aerospace engineering or similar subject, or equivalent industry experience is required
