LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

 

This role is also eligible for other additional allowances to base salary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Your main responsibility will be to support the development, testing and sign-off of our automatic transmission systems and components. You will work with lead engineers to ensure that valid content is specified, manage specific elements of the supplier delivery against this specification and arrange verification activity to support the vehicle program which meets the programme requirements for quality, cost and time.

 

In your new role, you'll deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost and time, including maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System.  You’ll support and deliver the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables and manage change requests and the relevant supplier teams using appropriate key performance Indicators.

 

You’ll be responsible for managing all computer-aided engineering and rig and vehicle test plans, including detailed planning of test and development stages through to sign-off. You'll also support engineering test teams with rectification of issues, and you'll ensure all forward quality activities are up to date and delivered to a high standard.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll come to this role with previous technical experience within the auto transmission hardware. You’ll have experience of the planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes using Product Creation Delivery Systems.

 

Ideally you’ll be qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline, or are able to demonstrate equivalent levels of training and experience.
