The team is developing to support future engine developments for the complete range Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. The Assembly Process Engineer will be responsible for developing our new, technologically advanced power train assembly facilities that are currently under design and manufacture to support the Jaguar Land Rover global powertrain initiatives.

The Power Train Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) department are responsible for the development and introduction of new and modified processes and facilities associated with new model introductions and model year changes, within assembly and test.

The Assembly Process Engineer will be a key part of the assembly team, working closely with Product Development Engineers, facility vendors and tooling suppliers to ensure that component and whole engine designs meet world class quality and efficiency standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In your role as Assembly Process Engineer you'll be required to have good knowledge and experience of assembly processes and equipment. These include, but are not limited to, automated assembly and run down cells, manual assembly workstations and in-process test equipment. You'll have the ability to analyse and interpret performance data output from the manufacturing plants and a good understanding of process capabilities. You'll have excellent communication skills in order for you to work closely with your suppliers and you'll have a flexible working approach and the ability to travel internationally.
