WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

 

As the Systems Engineer in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team, you’ll be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a system, coordinating multiple cross-functional teams through a matrix organisation. Leading a team of Systems Engineers, you’ll help make designs a reality and ensure they meet the standards and quality our customers expect.

 

Your team will use sensors to perceive the environment, process this information through electronic control units (ECUs), and then operate the vehicle through actuators. This will support and/or replace the driver in their driving tasks – it’s the building blocks towards highly automated and autonomous driving.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong problem solving and communication skills to ensure you deliver the best results. With a background in automotive or similar industry, you’ll have a strong understanding of the legal compliance requirements that apply to functional safety and systems quality. An experienced Systems Engineer, you’ll be confident delivering innovative complex distributed systems. Prior experience of leading a team and project management will be essential, too.
