WHAT TO EXPECT

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

Based within the EESE ADAS Validation and Verification Team, this role is for an experienced and highly motivated lead engineer to lead the team responsible for the creation of test plans, test cases and test automation for the verification and validation of ADAS features in the Cruise, Active Safety, Parking and Manoeuvring and Vision domains. This includes ownership of the test management and planning activities and allocation of tasks appropriately across the team of Test Engineers

Overall responsibility for delivery by the Test Team of system and software validation and verification to include the design, development, qualification and execution of test cases, methods and environments.

Collaborate with the Systems Team Leads and Lead Engineers to deliver requirements based V&V solutions in a timely manner according to vehicle programme timing and project milestones

Determining priorities and directing the testing of requirements and assigning tasks across the Test Engineering Team along with scheduling of tests on System (Level 4) and Vehicle (Level 5) HIL rigs and vehicles

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Experience with leading a team of engineers and assigning tasks appropriately along with the creation of test plans, test cases and test automation

Understands concept of verification vs validation and Knowledge of ADAS systems and feature(s) would be beneficial.

Good knowledge of system engineering principles, with understanding of validation techniques throughout all stages of the engineering development ‘V’ cycle.

Experience in the creation of test plans, test cases and test automation along with experience of virtual test, system test and vehicle testing

Excellent communication skills are essential in this role and ideally you will have experience of dealing with internal and external suppliers
