ADAS Hardware Engineer Camera SALARY £40,400 - £52,400

Job description

In your new role, you'll be providing object data for features like autonomous emergency braking and Vehicle Lateral Control Features. You'll also lead on pilot delivery and re-application of sub systems and commodities to follow on programmes. We'll look to you for your technical expertise in designing the camera vehicle components and you will be able to oversee the whole process from end to end.

With this great opportunity, you'll sit within the ADAS Sub Systems Group which is responsible for completing all the system engineering deliverables required to design and deliver driver assistance features based on video, radar and ultrasonic technologies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To be successful in this role you'll be an experienced technical specialist who has previous experience in successfully delivering engineering programmes. You'll also have experience of delivering technical products through a team, utilising strong people management skills and be an individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.

You will also have technical and practical knowledge of specific car components or of systems and sub-systems, as well as integrating components into world class vehicles. Finally, you'll have experience of delivering projects in an automotive, aerospace engineering or manufacturing environment, who is also highly disciplined, analytical and self-committed.
