Our Team:
The International Funds Product Management (IFPM) team builds and maintains strong relationships with investment managers and internal corporate partners (Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Tax and Risk teams) to deliver active and passive investment strategies to support the long-term strategic and tactical asset allocations of the Private Bank.
The team is specifically responsible for the overall product management of Mutual funds, ETFs and Hedge Funds UCITs selected by the manager research teams for the International Platform (covers EMEA, Latin America and Asia regions). The process involves the establishment of legal agreements, negotiation of fees, prospectus reviews, share class selection, and determining the suitability of funds for distribution and share classes for different jurisdictions based on a series of regulatory, tax and compliance information.
As the regulatory environment we operate in internationally continues to evolve and our business continues to expand into new markets, there is an ongoing need to manage this product and meet the needs of our Business on a day to day basis.
The Role:
Offer advice internally to Investors and Bankers on all non-investment matters pertaining to the product.
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with fund houses, ETF providers, as well as internal main stakeholders such as Investors, Bankers, Manager Selections, Investment teams etc.
· Responsible for the entire product management cycle (from the onboarding to the governance) of active, passive investment funds and ETFs, based on business priorities; ensure results are delivered on-schedule while closely adhering to internal policies
· Responsible for partnering with front-office investors and the portfolio management team to improve the fund palette and tailor share class solutions for individual clients and portfolios
· Responsible for resolving questions on contractual arrangements, share class eligibility, prospectus terms, regulatory requirements and advising on jurisdictional requirements linked to share class launches
· Responsible for responding to queries related to fund attributes
· Lead projects relating to the product
Key Skills/Experience Required:
· Minimum 3 years financial services industry required – experience in asset or wealth management is an advantage
· Familiarity with regulated Mutual funds, ETFs, documentation and regulatory framework is required
· Experience of working with Legal Agreements an advantage
· Strong multi-tasker, highly organized, strong prioritization and follow-up skills
· Demonstrated ability to make personal connections, engage and educate stakeholders, ask open-ended questions and listen to establish trust and build lasting relationships
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent stakeholder management skills are essential
· Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and planning skills
· Good negotiation and presentation skills
· Team worker/Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment to build consensus
· Strong written and verbal English required. At least one other European language advantageous.
