An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Funds Product Manager to join the International Funds Product Management team at an Associate level. The role will be based in London.
Our Team
The Private Bank global funds platform is a multi-fund platform that provides pooled investment solutions to wealth management clients around the globe.It consists of third-party and proprietary JPM sponsored mutual funds& ETFs, totaling over $50 billion in assets under management, with continuous growth anticipated.
The International Funds Product Management (IFPM) team builds and maintains strong relationships with investment managers and internal corporate partners (Front Office, Legal, Compliance, Tax and Risk teams) to deliver active and passive investment strategies to support the long-term strategic and tactical asset allocations of the Private Bank.
The team is specifically responsible for the overall product management of Mutual funds, ETFs and Hedge Funds UCITs selected by the manager research teams for the International Platform (covers EMEA, Latin America and Asia regions). The process involves the establishment of legal agreements, negotiation of fees, prospectus reviews, share class selection, and determining the suitability of funds fordistribution and share classes for different jurisdictions based on a series of regulatory, tax and compliance information.
As the regulatory environment we operate in internationally continues to evolve and our business continues to expand into new markets, there is an ongoing need to manage this product and meet the needs of our Business on a day to day basis.
The Role
Internally this role will offer expert advice to the business on all non investment matters pertaining to the product. Support and guidance will be given to teams including Investors and Bankers. The role is also likely to require close interaction with our internal corporate partners across Manager Selection, Legal, Risk, Tax, Compliance and Middle office internationally. Externally the role will require regular interaction with our external fund houses in order to keep abreast of their product offering.
· Responsible for the onboarding of active and passive investment funds, based on pipeline priorities, ensure results are delivered on-schedule while closely adhering to internal policies
· Responsible for partnering with front-office investors and the portfolio management team to improve the fund palette and tailor share class solutions for individual clients and portfolios
· Manage relationship between internal business teams and external Fund providers as a point for resolution and escalation
· Responsible for understanding and resolving questions on (including but not limited to) contractual arrangements, share class eligibility, prospectus terms, regulatory requirements etc.)
· Responsible for managing and delivering on all new share class requests for Investors,, advising on jurisdictional requirements linked to share class launches (documentation, tax transparency etc.).
· Responsible for responding to queries related to fund attributes such as registration, tax transparency, fund structure and providing guidance to the Business.
· Lead projects relating to the product including those driven by business and regulation.
Requirements
·
Familiarity with the financial services industry required – experience in asset or wealth management is an advantage
·
Familiarity with regulated Mutual funds, ETFs, documentation and regulatory framework is required
·
Strong multi-tasker, highly organized and strong prioritization skills
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent stakeholder management skills are essential
·
Proven ability of problem solving / "Can do" attitude; Strong recommendations at the appropriate time.

Strong written and verbal English required. At least one other European language advantageous.
