Our Team

Fiduciary Risk results from the failure to exercise the applicable standard of care, failure to act in the best interests of clients or treat clients fairly as required under applicable law or regulation, potentially resulting in regulatory risk, reputation risk and financial liability. The Fiduciary Risk Team is responsible for ensuring that Wealth Management is adhering to fiduciary obligations for fiduciary activities, including obligations as an investment manager, obligations linked to treating clients fairly and the management of conflicts of interest.

The Role

As a member of the EMEA Fiduciary Risk Team the successful candidate will perform regular reviews of and propose improvements to the Fiduciary Risk Framework while at the same time identifying fiduciary risks that can arise as part of the Bank’s business.

 
Responsibilities
·  Support the oversight of the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) framework, providing credible challenges and recommendations to the 1st line of defence for the oversight of  the TCF
·  Identify potential metrics to measure Key Risk Indicators for Fiduciary Risk
·  Work with project managers to proactively assess Fiduciary Risks within new business initiatives, including new products, and provide recommendations for mitigation ensuring regional consistency
·  Maintain the list of Fiduciary Risk Activities updated to reflect the latest fiduciary obligations and associated requirements from applicable regulations  
·  Conduct periodic reviews and act as a point of reference for the Fiduciary Risk and Control framework
·  Engage in the Risk Control Self Assessment process for the EMEA Fiduciary Risk and oversee closure of the related action plans
·   Support the EMEA Risk Committee secretary in coordinating Committee Meetings agenda, materials and taking minutes.

 
Requirements
·  Relevant work experience in Fiduciary Risk or other Risk Management or Compliance/ Audit function
·  Ability to navigate in a regulated environment
·  Strong organizational and time management skills
·  Excellent ability to multi-task addressing critical daily issue while keeping focus on strategic deliveries
·  Ability to work independently
·  Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
·  Interact with all levels of Management and business partners
