CIB Technology - Vendor Transformation PMO - Associate - Based in Bournemouth
Applicants are sought for a Vendor Transformation PMO position within the CIB technology organization. We require an experienced individual, with a proven track record of Vendor Management and supporting a PMO function. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive tactical and strategic improvements across an engagement, own the Quality Agenda regarding defect management and partner with the Vendor to develop an approach for in-house Local Development and Shared Testing.
In addition, the role is to build on the existing Vendor Management practices by streamlining and automating reporting as well as to managing the onboarding/offboarding of vendor resources. The individual will be self-managing, self-starting, with proven experience in Vendor Relationship Management. In addition, the successful candidate will have significant experience in Transformation projects/programs involving Vendors. The role will be required to work closely multiple functions; Quality Assurance, Analyst, Application Development teams and Vendors, and will require excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills. The individual will need to be a self-motivated and delivery focused and be able to work with minimal supervision to be able to drive improvements.

CIB Technology is a global technology organization that is responsible for the systems processing for Treasury Services and Investment Bank branches in EMEA, Asia & LATAM. The organization is responsible for Low and High Value payments, DDA, and local clearing links for these branches as well as a number of global utilities, SWIFT and OFAC. The organization is based in Bournemouth, Mumbai, Bangalore, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tampa and San Paulo.
The International Account Services team is a key function within CIB Banking Technology and is responsible for the cash accounts for the International region (Demand Deposit Accounting) and associated middleware, the teams are based in Bournemouth, London and Bangalore.
About the IAS Vendor Transformation PMO role:
The role is for an experienced Vendor Management PMO to support and facilitate a Vendor Transformation program within the International Account Services organization.
Knowledge of implementing Co-Development and Test Acceptance Criteria within a Vendor engagement is important to the role, as is the ability to support the Vendor Relationship Manager in transforming the existing vendor engagement. The role will involve daily interactions with stakeholders across Technology and Product. The individual will need to work in a partnership with internal Technology teams, whilst maintaining a professional and strategic relationship with the Vendor.
The role will need to manage the reporting, monitoring and tracking of the vendor engagement via Weekly and Monthly Governance sessions. In addition further analysis is required to identify the measurement and tracking of Quality KPIs relating to Vendor delivery.
Specific tasks include;
· Vendor Quality KPIs - perform analysis on defects in ALM to create Quality KPIs used for Monthly Governance meetings
· Technical debt – perform analysis with Production Mgmt on ranking of Production defects. Work with Stability PM on locking down target dates to Design and implement
· Vendor Engagement surveys to monitor and track the health of the engagement and focus areas for improvement
· Defect Management – manage day to day defect escalations with the Vendor and delivery teams
· Governance – produce monthly Governance decks across the engagement
· Communication with key stakeholders, both internal to Technology, Product and with the Vendor; all of which will be in multiple global locations
· Vendor Resource Pipeline – keeping track and processing vendor onboarding/off-boarding and rotations, including access control and mandatory training
· Vendor Relationship Management – develop innovative approaches to strengthen and enhance the end to end vendor engagement

Issues Tracking – maintain an active log of all Vendor related quality issues, categorized by nature of the issue.

Demonstrable evidence of supporting Vendor Management PMO within Application Development across the Financial Sector
·
Demonstrable evidence of previous Vendor Management Transformation projects
·
Knowledge of T24 Cash Management platform and Payment processing
·
Experience of defect management using the ALM tool
·
Experience of Co-Development and Joint Testing ventures with a Vendor
·
Excellent skills with Powerpoint, Word & Excel, analyzing and documenting complex defect triage and Quality KPIs
·
Demonstrate strong technical understanding of Vendor Management best practices
·
A proven track record in Software Development
·
Proven experience of defining test acceptance criteria
·
Result orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills
·
Demonstrate experience with working with external Vendors
·
Experience of working in a large financial organization.
·
Full understanding of the SDLC approach
