This role is for a Front End Developer within the Global Equity Derivatives Structuring Technology team.  The successful candidate will form part of an exciting new team focused on delivering a new client facing X-Asset platform for the Investable Indices and managed portfolios business. The role will involve partnering closely with the business to develop innovative technical solutions for this high profile revenue growth initiative, with the aim to deliver a best in class platform incorporating Portfolio composition, Life cycle management, Portfolio optimization and Analytics capabilities for our end clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning technology group focused on a greenfield project to develop a multi asset Client Web Portal.

 

We are looking for proactive, highly motivated front end web developers who are passionate about building visually innovative and feature rich web applications.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

· 
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

· 
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

· 
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

· 
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

· 
Experience in front end web application development (the candidate will be familiar with the full range of tools and frameworks: when, why and how to use them).  For example: syntax and language choices (JavaScript – ES5/6., Typescript, CSS, HTML, etc.); frameworks (React, Redux, GraphQL), Angular, Vue, etc.), toolchain (webpack, rollup, babel, etc.)

· 
Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies.

· 
Deep experience of building client facing web front ends

· 
Experience of building high performance easy to use web visualization tools/dashboards of multi asset-class portfolios would be desireable

· 
An understanding of cross asset derivatives and their key risk attributes (Equity, Credit, Fx, Commodity, Rates etc.) would be beneficial, but not a must
