Job description

Wholesale Loan Operations is part of the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking line of business but provides vital loan servicing functions to key business units within our company from more than a dozen locations across three continents. This business provides functions like Loan documentation, closing, and funding, payment and fee processing, Syndication loan and trade processing, Credit Administration, Collateral perfection and management, Customer service and reporting and Construction management.

CTL Servicing – Transaction Processing Specialist – Escrow Tax
· Work closely with borrowers, taxing authorities, Special Credits department and various other in-house clients to accurately calculate and explain escrow analyses while meeting firm deadlines
· Review and understand payment histories for property taxes and insurance, including delinquent taxes, force place insurance, abatements, etc.
· Thorough loan review and research skills; must be able to effectively conduct research utilizing vendor websites as well as county websites
· Manage time and workload to assure firm deadlines are met in a dynamic environment
· Track and report production
· Accurately follow procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned

Desired profile

Qualifications
· 3+ years experience in mortgage servicing; experience with tax escrow/escrow analysis preferred
· Production oriented with a quality focus with a high attention to detail.
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to communicate findings clearly due to proficient written and verbal skills
· Strong Word and Excel skills
· Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork with punctual, dependable attributes
· Works well independently and as part of a team
· Self-driven, eager to learn
· High School Diploma or equivalent required (some college preferred)
