The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).

Corporate Technology teams are aligned with corporate partners' evolving technology needs and the firm's ever expanding technology controls agenda.
A top Corporate Technology priority is building scalable corporate systems.

Teams focus on:
· Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
· Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
· Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
· Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
· Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency
This incumbent will be a key player in the Architecture space driving innovations for finance solutions with specific focus on SAP General Ledger, Funds Transfer Pricing and allied finance applications through strategic planning and development technologies, maintaining high quality delivery standards and driving innovation by leveraging new technology platforms. Extensive experience with functional, data architecture is a must. To be effective in this role the incumbent will need to foster close collaboration with other technical competencies, delivery and development leads as well as our Service Providers. This position is accountable to understand and manage the SAP solutions implemented such that the solution is optimized and meets or exceeds the business requirements and SAP best practice. In addition, the incumbent will need to co-ordinate and run Technical Projects in the General Ledger domain including a variety of application Technology platforms, though hands-on experience in all Technologies is not expected.

Key Responsibilities:
· Understand the architecture function across all of GL Technology
· Lead platform and development strategy on SAP and ensure solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities
· Play key role in migration of the SAP platform to S4HANA in a cost effective, strategic manner
· Define architectural standards across SAP & Java platforms leveraging industry best practices and ensure compliance with JP Morgan architecture standards
· Own developing innovative solutions and blueprints for complex business solutions
· Guide development resources with systems integration and design options
· Work with SAP architects to address product gaps and deliver value added services
· Own formulating and driving performance certification plan & agenda
· Run Technical Projects including upgrades and Tech Refresh in SAP and other technology Platforms in the GL space.
· Perform solution assessment and first level integration architecture reviews for project implementations

Desired profile

·  3 years' of continual architecture experience spanning infrastructure & Basis
·  Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering a variety of complex technology solutions spanning non SAP technologies like Java
·  Ability to think strategically and outside of the box coupled with practical execution to solve multi-dimensional, complex technical challenges
·  Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic vision via compelling presentations
·  Ability to build rapport, garner respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
·  Analytical focus and mindset; thought leadership ; control mindset
·  SAP development, implementation and design experience with specific focus on SAP GL solutions at a major financial institution is a plus
