Corporate Technology - Core Engineering provides strategic application development and production support to firm-wide organizations whose focus is strongly aligned to the firm’s enterprise wide control agendas. As a member of Core Engineering application development team you will be working on innovative projects to enhance the lives of developers across Corporate Technology. You will be able to work independently to solve complex problems across geographically spread teams. You will have several years of application development experience in multiple platforms and able to complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management.  

 

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

 

•              Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

•              Advanced knowledge of design and business processes.

•              Proficiency in the following programming languages: Java, Python and Go.

•              Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement.

•              A thorough knowledge of Web Services and proficiency with RESTful APIs.

•              Linux/Unix experience.

•              Experience leveraging Cloud Based Infrastructure.

•              Experience defining software development practices across teams of individuals.

•              Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•              Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

•              Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

•              Agile development experience.
