The Global Cash Equities Technology Group supports a well-established major business unit in the JPMorgan Investment Bank. Our group is responsible for providing the technology infrastructure for trading Equities across the globe. Products cover cash, swaps, listed options and futures. There are key components to this stack such as a Smart Order Router, Algo engine and exchange and broker connectivity. This is leveraged by multiple lines of business such as Equities, Derivative and Program Trading.

The Electronic Trading EXB QA Group is looking to recruit a Technical Tester with expert level Functional Automation knowledge to provide testing solutions for Electronic Trading, within the algorithmic trading space. The role exists within an expanding technology team which is focused on delivering timely testing solutions in response to its ever-growing demand. The individual will need to be flexible in their approach and able to react quickly to changing business needs.

The role will involve liaison with the Application Development and plan teams. While the testing roles are project based there will also be a need to work closely with the support team and end users to ensure the smooth transition of the applications to a production support environment.

Responsibilities

· Successful completion of project testing activities and tasks (including building both manual and automated test packs)
· Support and execution of application testing phase (this includes internal testing & exchange driven testing)
· Liaison/co-ordination with other technology teams to execute cross application integration testing
· Must be capable to drive own workload, with minimum management effort
· Be a Mentor for junior team members .

Technical Qualifications - requirements

This position calls for a broad technology skill set, expert level experience in

· Developing Functional test automation scripts using the HP / Mercury Quick Test Professional
· Familiar with full systems development lifecycle
· Able to demonstrate a track record of providing technical testing solutions, through the use of SQL, UNIX scripting and/or their own custom tools (built using Java, C, C++, VBA, etc.)
· System testing and implementation
· Business analysis , problem solving skills
